Nassau Kitchen Renovation
Problem & Objective
We recently renovated our own kitchen; it is so challenging for an interior designer to design their own home.
So, I decided to keep it simple and focus on elements, influences and colors I love and never get tired of.
Solution
All my “loves” are in this space – contrasting black and white, Art Deco era, chinoiserie, porcelain and color green, the perfect color of nature.
The cabinetry offers plenty of storage and the oversized peninsula generous room for entertainment.
We decided on the classic Carrara marble for the counter tops and graphic black and white porcelain tile for the back splash.
The exterior french doors allow for plenty of natural light and connect the interior spaces with the outdoors.
We reinforced the connection by using real slate slabs for the floor, similar to the patio pavers outside
The space is functional, welcoming and has all the the elements which make me happy.
